Question by Diesel_D: FREE Public Records Search (Alabama)?
I’ve tried going to the actual county in Ala., but each and every time I search for a record, it brings me to a sponsored site where it requires a credit card to continue. I went to the court house and they say that the public records are 100% FREE – I cannot seem to find any of them. Any suggestions to 100% websites containing accurate public records?

If the city website is asking for a credit card, you’re right to ignore it. You should go the library, which usually has hard copies of public records. If they don’t, you can go on one of their computers, which will give you access to the public record database. That’s probably why you keep getting asked for a card, because users have to pay to login to databases–which the city does, so anything computer that’s public, such as library ones, will allow you to use the database. if you’re having any trouble finding what you’re looking for, the librarian can help (this will save you a lot of time, so I suggest just asking for help when you go instead of doing it yourself.

On a spring afternoon in 1931, an Alabama posse stopped a freight train and rounded up nine black youths, ranging in age from thirteen to nineteen. Their crime was fighting with white boys – until two white girls, dressed in men’s overalls, turned up in one of the freight cars. Though the girls showed no signs of abuse, the cry of rape went up, and a case and a cause that would drag on for almost half a century were born. No crime in American history, resulted in as many trials, convictions, reversals, retrials, and seminal Supreme Court decisions. Based on first-person accounts, archival material, and court records, Ellen Feldman’s Scottsboro is a novel about the two girls who cried rape, the nine young men who were sentenced to death again and again, and the men and women who fought, some to sacrifice and some to save them. This event was recorded at the New York Society Library on Thursday, May 1, 2008 at 6:30 PM.

Leftist Neo-Nazi James Von Brunn Kills Security Guard at the US Holocaust Memorial Museum

Some of these people on the left are such racist haters. They refuse to let people live their own lives without the interference of others. They cannot stand it when people are just left to be individuals; they seem to want control of everything. They always categorize people in such a way that inevitably leads to violence, when will they ever learn? The hating racism on the left is starting to boil over, and when it does, all hell will break lose. We constitutionalist, freedom loving individualists had better be ready for the upcoming violence that is sure to come. These leftist neo-Nazis will not rest until they have collected us all into little groups that they will then control with an iron fist. So to my brethren on the right, just keep up the good fight, and always do what is right, for in the end it is truth and justice that will prevail, not the freedom strangling ways of the left. jbranstetter04 Law center: Shooting suspect has ‘long history’ with neo-Nazis WASHINGTON (CNN) — An 88-year-old Maryland man with a long history of ties to white supremacist groups is the suspect in Wednesday’s shooting at the US Holocaust Memorial Museum, two law enforcement officials told CNN. James von Brunn served six years in prison for trying to make what he called a “legal, non-violent citizens arrest” of Federal Reserve board members in 1981 — a sentence he blamed on “a Negro jury, Jew/Negro attorneys” and “a Jew judge,” he said on his Web site, “Holy Western Empire.” “He is …
