HYANNIS — The two family members who allegedly shot and killed Aris Manoloules at his Hyannis vacation home were after money, investigators said yesterday. Manoloules, 47, a full-time Framingham resident, was shot four times in the head and torso at his home on Ripple Cove Road, according to the police, who found his body at 5:30 pm Wednesday. Teen accused of killing uncle in Hyannis on Thursday, his nephew, Christopher Manoloules, 17, of Southboro was arraigned in Barnstable District Court, charged with murder and attempting to commit armed robbery. Yesterday, Christopher’s uncle on his mother’s side, Robert Upton, 45, of Ipswich, was arraigned on the same charges. Both men pleaded not guilty and were ordered held without bail. The police reports on the killing, which typically contain a description of the crime, were ordered sealed until the men return to court next month. “He’s obviously devastated,” Upton’s attorney, Daniel Solomon, said of his client after yesterday’s arraignment hearing. For the second day in a row yesterday, the Manoloules family gathered at the courthouse, including Christopher’s parents. His father, Treefon Manoloules, also the brother of the victim, was there. So was his mother, Deborah, whose brother, Upton, is charged with killing her husband’s brother. The Pulaski County Court was held at 201 S. Broadway in Little Rock Nov 23rd at 7PM. Members of the Pulaski County Tea Party testified against the Pulaski County Quorum Court’s effort to give County workers, including themselves raises.
