CIA Economic Intelligence and Industrial Espionage

Industrial espionage or corporate espionage is espionage conducted for commercial purposes instead of national security purposes. The term is distinct from legal and ethical activities such as examining corporate publications, websites, patent filings, and the like to determine the activities of a corporation (this is normally referred to as competitive intelligence). Theoretically the difference between espionage and legal information gathering is clear. In practice, it is quite difficult to sometimes tell the difference between legal and illegal methods. Especially if one starts to consider the ethical side of information gathering, the border becomes even more blurred and elusive of definition. Industrial espionage describes activities such as theft of trade secrets, bribery, blackmail, and technological surveillance. As well as spying on commercial organizations, governments can also be targets of commercial espionage—for example, to determine the terms of a tender for a government contract so that another tenderer can underbid. Industrial espionage is most commonly associated with technology-heavy industries, particularly the computer and automobile sectors. Espionage takes place in many forms. In short, the purpose of espionage is to gather knowledge about (an) organization(s). A spy may be hired, or may work for oneself. Wouldnt recommend neoliberalism, but would recommend authoritarianism? seems pretty consistent with somebody on the centre-right, and somebody who dismisses criticisms of US foreign policy as America hating and as traitorous.
At least youre consistent, and not suffering from cognitive dissonance
@psykotrol I would never recommend in duodecillion years that you support neoliberalism. I am a right of centre conservative who does not give a flying rat fuck about neoliberalism.
@YFLOInternational
Yup, I hate all forms of authoritarianism, hierarchy, dominance, and illegitimate authority in all spheres of life, political, social, and economic alike.
Unless you can give me a compelling reason to support authoritarianism or neoliberalism, my mind is made up. You have given me no compelling reason, your arguments are fallacious and have no substance.
@psykotrol lol You are not open to debate. Your mind is made up.
@YFLOInternational
Yes, a Bush hater. and a Clinton hater, and a Reagan hater, and a Carter hater, and a JFK hater, and a Nixon hater.
America, as the only remaining superpower, will naturally be the most violent on the Earth, because we are an empire. Extreme violence is true with every empire, including the Soviets, the Nazis, the British empire, imperial Japan, etc.
lol blah blah blah hyperbole and ad hominem.
when you can debate in a logical manner, come back.
@psykotrol Yeah yeah yeah. Typical response from a likely Bush hater. The CIA is always the bad guy. Blah blah blah. America is the big bully and all that other shit you spew forth. Like I said, Philip Burnett Franklin Agee was a motherfucking traitor to the United States of America. He was a sell out. The only reason you admire him is that because of his actions, Americans were killed. You are scum of the earth and very well have the right to bow down to your commie form of government.
Yes, because we all know that dissent and critiquing your own country is traitorous. Only stupid, sycophant freaks like you believe in that totalitarian garbage. Eat the collective lead of humanity’s gun, you ignorant cunt.
Philip Burnett Franklin Agee was a traitor to the United States of America. He burns in Hell.
