Goldwater Announcing Legal Challenge To Phoenix Coyotes Sale: FINALLY
Posted by | Posted in Arizona Court Records | Posted on 13-01-2012
The Goldwater Institute announced on Tuesday that it will file a legal challenge to the agreement between the City of Glendale and prospective owner Matthew Hulsizer to subsidize the purchase of the Phoenix Coyotes, once that agreement is closed. In a statement released by the institute on Tuesday, Goldwater announced that the challenge comes after the Goldwater Institute examined more than 1000 pages of documents provided by the City of Glendale under court order. The deal Goldwater is challenging has not yet been signed by the parties, but is expected to close soon. Under the deal, the City of Glendale plans to help Hulsizer purchase the Coyotes by borrowing 0 million. The loan would mostly be repaid from parking revenues, but the city has also pledged sales and excise taxes. As part of the deal, the city would also pay Hulsizer million to manage Jobing.com arena – home of the Coyotes – over the next five-and-a-half years. Is it legal for a random person to look up your court records?
Posted by | Posted in Maryland Court Records | Posted on 16-12-2011
Question by : Is it legal for a random person to look up your court records?
I have a friend with a very nosey mother who likes to randomly look up the court records to everyone that she knows. She often reminds me that I am on probation for a speeding ticket and holds it over my head. As you could imagine, this type of behavior gets extremely old and annoying. I could understand if I was some sort of sex offender that she needed to know about but that is not the case.
Anyway, my question is that I feel like this is in some way an invasion of privacy as she can freely go to a website, type in my name, and get all of the court details without any permission. To all of my lawyers out there… are there any lines being crossed here? Is there anything that can be done?
If it helps any, I am located in Maryland

they’re public once they’re filed…if you don’t like it, turn her in to the police or tell her to shut her mouth, you’re tired of hearing her run it.
I doubt the police can or will do anything, but it might help to have a report if it gets worse.
